Your memoir and privacy
A practical overview of how your story works in Memoirist—not a substitute for a full legal privacy policy.
Your private account
Your book, chapters, interview notes, and uploaded photos are associated with your signed-in account. Access to memoir records and uploaded photographs is restricted to their owner.
Turning notes into prose
When you ask the intelligent biographer to write or regenerate a chapter, the relevant notes are processed by an AI service to produce your draft. You can review and edit the result.
External video memories
Linked videos are hosted by the provider you choose. Playing an embedded video or scanning its printed QR code opens that provider’s content, subject to its own privacy settings.
Your downloaded book
You control where you save your downloaded files and who receives them. A printed video QR code can reveal its destination to anyone who has that page, so check video access before sharing a book.
